Pathetic Policing Helped Murderer

Surrey police knocked on evil sex murderer Levi Bellfield's front door ELEVEN times... but left because they got no reply - BBC link.  There was little or no communication between officers holding vital clues, such as an eleven-year-old girl's attempted abduction in the area a day before.
So - and I'm no detective - let's assume I get this message.
Another donut - this one at the
 Ratcliffe Power Station siege
'Chief, that murder case you're working on; are you aware that there was an attempted abduction of a schoolgirl in the same area the day before?  The girl's mum reported it in; we've got the car details, location and a description of the perv.'
My response?  Well, if I'm a Surrey cop: 'I've heard there's a new Gregg's opened on the High Street.  Run along and get me a couple of pasties, DC Wright.'

Dreamer Clegg Just Doesn't Get It

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has voiced concerns that British taxpayers should receive shares in the bailed out banks - BBC link.
Speaking in Brazil, he said, 'Their (taxpayers) money has been used to the tune of billions to keep the British banking system on a life-support machine and they have absolutely no say at all in what happens when normality is restored... You are giving the Treasury an assurance that they will break even but you are not giving the Treasury the freedom to grab the windfall if there is one.
'This is something I have discussed a lot with [Business Secretary] Vince [Cable]. Vince and I feel it is something that we want officials to look at.'

Taxi For A Prince!

So Prince Harry is bored with the last toy in the toy box -  his Action Man Blues and Royals recce AFV.  Now he wants to be an Apache gunship flyer; and what spoilt Harry wants, he gets.
Pity the poor bloody infantry who will now be down on one of their most fearsome and efficient fire-power back-ups as molly-coddled Lieutenant Wales struts around Camp Bastion wearing his pilot's rig, oblivious of his (non-reported by the frivolous Mainstream Media) SF-protected bubble.
The British Army have 67 such aircraft, some of which are used for training.  So the amount of Apache's available to our ground commanders in the middle of Taliban shit-storms is therefore less than that figure - link - and now the boys and girls in uniform have one less back-up because of this clown.
Let's hope he doesn't take it into his head to become an astronaut.  Because if he does, it'll be us mugs that pay for the spoilt bastard's latest whim.

Visit Glittering Newham, Jewel of the East End

Labour-infested Newham Borough Council has been under the spotlight again this week as the hungry little piglets of East London yet again gorge at the trough, in the full knowledge that no repercussions will arise in a town hall corrupt from top to bottom - Labour won all 60 council seats in May 2010. A rancid political landscape given that all politicians bar none are out for themselves.
Such a landslide is ripe for corruption, and seeing as so-called 'Labour' politicians are the furthest you'll get from 'egalitarianism, community and human solidarity', let's take a look at their time in office...
Newham council bosses tear into cash
provided by motorists and residents
Somebody reign that pig in, will you, it's biting into my bank account... ahem... let me begin on Newham, a test tube laboratory of what goes wrong when no-one is watching the sharks.

Spend, spend, spend is endemic in London's poorest borough: last winter the council decided it would be a brilliant idea to splash out #1,800 on individual designer lights, prompting Local Government Minister Bob Neill to say: 'Such monumental waste is scandalous.'- BBC link.
But hey; none of this matters... motorists in Newham pick up a big chunk of the tab in outrageous parking charges, thus driving shoppers away from the area and into the out of town supermarkets.  Londoner's generally also have to cough up for the crackpots of Newham with a hundred million subsidy.
Other gems from the champagne socialists from crack-pot land....
Councillors in one of Britain's poorest boroughs on double the salary of the Prime Minister - link.
In April the high-living 'socialists' ordered 130,000 bailiff call-outs to harrass motorists and council tax payers - sharp-eyed reporter Matt Nicholls on the Newham Recorder - link.  Newham is in the top five of 'authorities' to call out bailiffs.  A necessary step, given the high salaries of the parasites running the show.
Daniel Hamilton, director of Big Brother Watch, said: 'The coalition government must act now to end the culture of bully-boy debt collection which has taken hold in town halls across the country.
'Sending in bailiffs to recover debts should always be the absolute last resort. The fact local councils have passed more than six million cases to bailiffs for matters as trivial as the late payment of council taxes and parking fines is truly shocking.'

Pudding Your Foot In It

A resources planning meeting at Hillingdon
IN a blatant abuse of power, a fat-cat Tory council chief has ordered 15 grands worth of carp to re-stock one the fishing lakes he uses. Evening Standard - link.
Keen angler Ray Puddifoot, Conservative council leader of Hillingdon in West London, was on the back foot when it was revealed the bonanza coincides with a £26.2 million budget slashing exercise.
A quick Google search reveals, as well as angling, Ray is a keen grasper, too.  Back in 2007, in a quality piece of reporting, the local Hillingdon and Uxbridge Times revealed Ray proposed himself a 56% pay rise for his part-time leadership job... £61,000 for a part-time job - link.
'People can't afford to pay utility bills, yet they are spending £15,000 putting fish in a lake. It's unbelievable,' said opposition Labour councillor Mo Kursheed.
Mr Puddifoot joked, 'I have been fishing since I was four but I have only used the lake two times in ten years.  The rest of the time I fish in Kent.'
One of his lackeys, Jean Palmer, the deputy chief executive of Hillingdon community services, leapt to his defence: 'Pit 4 lake is similar to our leisure centres and playgrounds.  The council has a duty to ensure they are maintained to a high standard so that residents can enjoy them.'

Slutwalk London

Sluts V Cuts earlier this year
Organisers say up to 5,000 people have taken part in the latest Slutwalk in London on Saturday - BBC link.
Slutwalk started when a Canadian policeman advised students to 'avoid dressing like sluts' to avoid being victimised.  The cop stated to Toronto students: 'Women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized'.
The response from activists was intense.  For more:

Sock It To 'Em Kids!

One of the kettles, looking at Trafalgar Square from Whitehall
School-kids who had been kettled by the Met have launched a legal challenge against their coraling - BBC link.
Up to 60 youngsters from Acland Burghley School joined the 24 November protest in Whitehall, where the police contained them for about eight hours.
Year 11 pupils Sam Eaton and Adam Castle, and Adam's younger sister claim that the police action infringed their human rights and the Children Act 2004.
Adam said: 'As children we can't vote, so one of the best ways for us to voice our opinion is through protest and if that's stopped or inhibited by kettling then where are we left?'
A former Met commander of specialist operations told the BBC: 'It's very clear when you see other demonstrations that have got out of hand... they have descended into violent attacks all over the place and quite frankly the police are left with no alternative but to contain those mobs.'
Whitehall, November 24 2010
In response, an active anarchist told me: 'Kettling actually increases the tension and violence is a key element of the tactic because when people want to leave the kettle they are beaten back by truncheons.  On one occasion on November 24 in Whitehall I witnessed a young disabled man being brutally beaten by hyped-up members of the Metropolitan Police's infamous TSG who as we know by employing this tactic caused the death of Ian Tomlinson.
'This is not an isolated incident - in fact if you go back to the old SPG (Special Patrol Group) who themselves brought about the untimely death of school-teacher Blair Peach [link], the subsequent report of which was shelved for thirty years and only released last year.'

London's Parliament Square - Watch This Space ;-)

In solidarity with our brothers in Spain and elsewhere who have taken over hundreds of public spaces, a declaration of intent has been posted on the fencing which restricts Londoners and visitors from accessing Parliament Square - Meltdown colleague Mike Raddie's YouTube report - link.
Parliament Square Summer 2010
The iconic Westminster location has been ringed with steel for ten months after Meltdown and other radical friends took over the place last May for two months; renaming the square 'Democracy Village'.  Since the subsequent eviction, nobody's been allowed on it; unless it suits the elite.
The barriers came down for the Royal Wedding, then promptly went back up again for taxpayer Joe Bloggs and the tourists who flock to the area.  The ongoing damage to central London's tourist trade must be considerable.
Meltdown's Chris Knight defies Boris' edict to leave last year
Patrolled by a private security company, taxpayers were forking out at a rate estimated at £600,000 for a full year.
Was the security worth that much?  The roughty-toughty guards melted away during the student protests last November, and are now gone for good, leaving a few Heritage Wardens manning the site.

In a recent Q and A radio broadcast for LBC, Mayor Boris Johnson, a Bullingdon Club confederate of fellow silver-spooned toff Prime Minister David Cameron, said that Democracy Village had caused tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage to a World Heritage Site.  Boris; Parliament Square is not a World Heritage Site; the surrounding Westminster Palace, Westminster Abbey and St Margaret's Church are - UNESCO World Heritage Sites link.  I thought you were a journo, mate.  Mainstream, of course; it shows sometimes.  And the figures for the grass?
The green itself measures about 5,500 square metres.  Qualcast charge nine quid for a high quality seed covering 15 sq metres - link.  So the maths - £3,300.  Plus labour; maybe 20 landscape labourers in a straight line walking line-abreast for half a day... 50 quid each?  Total; about 4,300 nicker, Boris me old mate.  Cash, of course.  And I'll make sure you get a drink out of it in the usual way, wink wink.  Maybe a new lawn for your country des-res?
Used by the Tolpuddle Martyrs and the Suffragettes, the Square was a historic place of protest... until avid money-grasper Tony Blair, the laughably re-tasked Middle East Peace Envoy (BBC link), banned it there using newly-drafted SOCPA legislation, whereby protest within a kilometre of the site is illegal - link.
So therefore dissent outside the Mother of All Parliaments is effectively quoshed, and the people silenced.
And the taxpayers scrimp and save and worry about paying their mortgages, and the pigs all keep stuffing themselves at The Trough - link.  Welcome to the world of the elite.  Now get back to fucking work - link.

As Wicked as Saddam - but Will This Tyrant Face the Same Consequences?

WARNING - THIS REPORT CONTAINS HARROWING INFORMATION.
A 13-year-old boy has been tortured to death by security forces in Syria.
Hamza Ali al-Khateeb had his genitals cut off, was battered and knee-capped by Syria's vile security police - Daily Mail link.  The child has now become a symbol of the Syrian uprising, which is now entering its seventh week.
Guardian report: 'According to a YouTube video and human rights activists, Hamza was tortured and his swollen body showed bullet wounds on his arms, black eyes, cuts, marks consistent with electric shock devices, bruises and whip marks. His neck had been broken and his penis cut off.' - link.
Exiled human rights campaigner Radwan Ziadeh said, '(His death) is the sign of the sadism of the Assad regime and its security forces... Torture is usual in Syria. It’s not something new or strange. What is special about Hamza is that he was only 13 years old. He really is a child.'
The family were warned to silence, but in a brave act of defiance they posted footage of his corpse on line.  His father, uncle and brother have all been detained, according to human rights activists.  Syria is controlled by gangster-thug Bashar al-Assad, who's Ambassador to Britain had originally been invited to the recent Royal Wedding - BBC link.

Al-Assad (link) is leader of his country's Ba'ath Party, a version of which were the parasitical regime that bled Iraq dry.  Nearby is Bahrain, who's government thugs are mounting an ongoing campaign against pro-democracy protestors; those injured are too frightened to go to hospital.  Nurses and doctors are routinely attacked there - video link.  Despite that, in a snub to working people from Britain to the Middle East and a display of solidarity with putrid despots everywhere, the Crown Prince of Bahrain was invited to the wedding by Royal flunkies.

Human Rights groups, such as Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, have detailed how Bashar's regime and secret police routinely torture, imprison, and kill political opponents, and those who speak out against the regime.
Since 2006 it expanded the use of travel bans against dissidents, a practice that is illegal under international law. Syria is the worst offender among Arab states.
In an interview with ABC News in 2007 he stated: 'We don't have such [things as] political prisoners,' yet the New York Times reported the arrest of 30 political prisoners in Syria in December 2007.'

US is Bankrupt. This is How to Cover it up...

So what have whistle-blower (link) Julian Assange, IMF banker chief and whistleblower (link) Dominique Strauss-Kahn and weapons inspector and whistle-blower (link) Scott Ritter got in common, apart from sex accusations?  They all rocked the boat.  The elite reveal a technique they use all the time; Strauss Kahn's friend, a 74-year-old devout Muslim, has been hammered with a (believe it or not history repeats itself) Manhatten hotel maid sex assault, just as Kahn himself was.  The elite have so little respect for the mainstream media that they use the same script in a linked case against Strauss Kahn's close friend, top Egyptian banker Mahmoud Abdel Salam Omar - understandably so; they own and therefore control it.  Come on boys - make it harder for people like me.  Maybe you could have used a different city, or a different 'crime'.  The normally excellent but this time very partial Daily Mail on the story - link.

A commentator studying a report from Russian spy chiefs the Federal Security Service for Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said, 'According to this FSB (who replaced the KGB) secret report, Strauss-Kahn had become 'increasingly concerned' earlier this month after the United States began 'stalling' its pledged delivery to the IMF of 191.3 tons ofgold agreed to under the Second Amendment of the Articles of Agreement signed by the Executive Board in April 1978 that were to be sold to fund what are called Special Drawing Rights as an alternative to what are called reserve currencies.' - link.  Move on, folks, there's nothing happening here.  Go back to your Worldwide Wrestling, sports, religious shite and celebrity drivel.
